He was also quoted in the Daily Collegian at Penn State University on his pro bono work collaborating with the Consulate General of China on an international student falling into disgrace. Oliver Qiu is a 2001 graduate at the University of Utah College of Law, Salt Lake City. He was awarded a LL.M. degree in Environmental Law. He was the recipient of Rulon Clerk Fellowship. His Chinese Master of law degree was obtained from Central China Normal University’s Law Department in 1999. He also received a Bachelor degree in English Language in 1996.  His jobs in China included TV Reporter for Law Program and English Translator for Sports Program.
