Was born in Tahskent, Uzbekistan. Graduated from Tashkent State University School of Law summa cum laude with both Master's and PhD. Was a criminal defense attorney for 11 years in Tashkent representing clients in multi-defendant, complicated and lengthy trials in the Tashkent City Superior Court and Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 1991, immigrated to the U.S. as a refugee from the former Soviet Union. After graduating from Seton Hall School of Law with J.D. and being licensed in teh State of New Jersey, established practice with primary focus on immigration law. Has over 15 publications. For over 14 years, hosts a weekly live talk show on Russian-speaking radio in the Tri-State area.
